Beyond the surface, the construction progresses through layers of British fleece wool for resilience and moisture management, then the Moosburger® horsetail to resist long-term compression and sustain loft. Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere provides a refined, softer transition, followed by a blend of Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton to add body and absorptive capacity. A two-layer hand-nested vanadium steel calico pocket spring system with 3,296 springs in King size responds independently to weight and movement, delivering continuous support. The border is finished with coir and wool, reinforced by four rows of hand side-stitching to expand the usable sleep surface and maintain profile over years of use, with woollen tufts compressing the layers into a stable depth at every tuft point.
